WHAT IS LEGOGENDER?
legogender is a xenogender with no connection to the gender binary! however, legogender people can lean towards binary genders as well, and have other xenogenders!people who identify as legogender may have a strong connection to any type of lego (system, technic, minifigures etc.) as well as the positive feelings lego brings! legogender is also associated with feeling not entirely human due to neurodivergence! legogender primarily has connections to feelings of both fun and security! (explained more on the next page)legogender people can use any pronouns, but the main ones associated with it are it/its! you could also choose to use neopronouns related to lego! i'm not very good at making them myself tho >_<it is preferred that legogender is only used by autistic/neurodivergent people as it comes from my own personal experiences as an autistic person, but anyone can use it if you really want!

that's okay! xenogenders are kind of hard to understand if you're not nonbinary or neurodivergent! i'll give a quick explaination :]xenogenders are not related to binary genders such as male or female, or even mixes of these genders such as bigender. instead they relate to objects, concepts, senses etc.xenogenders are heavily linked to autism and other forms of neurodivergence, as it often makes it hard to fully understand and explain our relation to gender in a way that makes sense to others. additionally, many nonbinary people struggle to explain their own experiences with gender due to the limitations of a binary-focused society!xenogenders are NOT people saying they want to transistion into the object/concept etc. we know this isn't possible. its just a way to help us explain our feelings about gender!
BUT I'M TRANS/ND AND THIS IS HARMFUL!
if you're binary trans and you think this harms the community, please consider that we are not doing this to "feel special". the vast majority of people who use xenogenders also identify as trans or nonbinary, and many (including myself) may have considered ourselves binary trans in the past! it's just a way to feel more comfortable in how we feel about our gender :]if you're autistic/neurodivergent and you don't understand it, that's okay! every neurodivergent person is different. just beacuse you don't relate doesn't mean other people can't!please remember that people are going to be transphobic/ableist regardless. us having fun in our identities isn't going to affect this! the best we can do is be accepting of each other and stop forcing each other to be "normal" by cishet/neurotypical standards :]
THE FLAG AND ITS MEANINGS!
i created this flag using the main five colours of system bricks! each colour has its own meaning associated with it too, which i'll explain here!black - security! at the top and bottom of the flag, this represents how lego can surround people with feelings of comfort and control!red - energy! special interests or hyperfixations on lego can make people feel energised, and able to work for hours on projects!yellow - fun! surrounds the centre of the flag as it is one of the key feelings associated with the gender! it is also one of the key values of lego itself :]white - nonbinary identity! lego appeals to people regardless of gender!blue - imagination! lego is an extremely good creative outlet for many people! imagination is also another key value of lego!
